To my Sugar Land friends and neighbors, I want to issue a reminder to be aware of your surroundings . The Bad guys were busy overnight. At local hot spot Lupe Tortilla, a woman was robbed in the parking lot.

And in Missouri City, there was a home invasion where 3 men kicked in the door wearing police raid uniforms. Police are investigating if last night's incident is connected to a similar break in last week in New Territory.

Sugar Land was recently named one of America's safest cities, which is an honor based on FBI Crime statistics. That is great news, but it is important for Sugar Land residents and citizens everywhere to have a plan and be prepared.
